Well it has take a while but I am finally almost there – our workshops are going to go live within the next day or so. I hope you will love the programme I have put together. The workshops are designed to build lifelong skills in a fun and friendly environment.
Not many of my close friends sew so I have always had to work hard to seek out other “creatives”. Moving from the UK almost 16 years ago I also know what it can be like to feel alone and how crafting can bring people together.
Initially, I have included lampshade making, sewing classes for the beginner and for those wanting to learn to dressmake, Indian woodblock printing, cushion making and how to make a fabulous wreath of peonies.
Please keep an eye out and join us in one of our workshops.
About The Author: Dawn Moloney
I live in Sydney and I am passionate about being creative. I sew, paint, make stuff out of paper and never have enough time to do it all.
I originally started A Making Life to share my everyday life with those closest to me, but now I’ve decided to share it with anyone who, like me, is constantly looking for new things to create.
