My Journey

I trained as a pharmacist and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years, and whilst I loved parts of it, deep down all I wanted to do was stay home and make stuff. I spent a lot of time feeling happy but unfulfilled.

In 2004 I started an online craft business with my sister, Kelly, called Scrapapple. As well as being an online site, we travelled all across Australia connecting with our creative sisters and teaching people how to make. It was the best time ever. We were also fortunate to work with many publishers throughout this time and have our projects featured in many craft and mainstream magazines.

We eventually sold this and I spent my time working back in the pharmaceutical industry and developing another successful non-craft business.

Now, as my children have grown up I can once again return to my first love - craft. I want to build a community where people new to craft can start their own journey and get inspired and for craft junkies like me, always looking for something new, I just want to put my spin on projects I love.

I love all crafts sewing, papercraft, painting... you name it I love to try it all. Lets face it, it’s addictive.
